Pakistan's First Lunar Mission: iCube Qamar

Let's cheer for the launch of iCube Qamar! 🚀🌕 It's Pakistan's first satellite sent to the moon, made by the Institute of Space Technology (IST), with some help from China's Shanghai University and Pakistan's space agency, SUPARCO.

Here's what you need to know:

It's a small satellite that weighs about 7 kilograms. It has two cameras to take pictures of the moon.

It hitched a ride on China's Chang’E6 mission. The rocket took off from China's Wenchang Space launch site.

It'll take about five days to reach the moon and then spend around three to six months circling it.

It shows that Pakistan is now part of the group of countries exploring space and the moon. Even though money was tight, Pakistan still managed to build and launch this satellite. It's a big step for science and space exploration.

It's a small satellite with a simple design that can do different jobs, like taking pictures or helping in schools to learn about space.

Let's celebrate this big accomplishment and hope for more cool stuff from Pakistan's space program! 🌟🇵🇰
